Designed to machine
with a dual tooth cutter, very precise stress concentration
notches in
test specimens to ensure that breakage of the specimen
takes place at the same section
each time a test is carried out.
Mainly intended for use with plastic polymer materials,
the variable speed range of the cutter and traverse feed
enables the optimum cutting conditions to be established
for each different material. The apparatus has a micro
height adjustment and notch depth dial indicator compositor
to ensure that the notch depth is accurately controlled.

Dual Tooth Cutter Wheels
Cutter wheels are optically profile ground and
diamond lapped for high precision
accuracy, and are available in dual tooth form.
The apparatus is supplied
complete with 1 dual tooth cutter wheel to customer's
specific requirements.
Spare cutter wheels may be purchased with the
machine or at a later date as required. |

The touch membrane keypad makes control of
the apparatus ergonomically
simple, whilst cutter spindle and traverse speeds
are shown digitally on the easy to read LCD
